According to the Associated Press, the Illinois Senate voted 40-11 on a bill that would add miniature horses to the list of services animals that can accompany individuals with documented disabilities. ICC prosecutor OK with delay to trial of Kenyans

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) – The International Criminal Court’s chief prosecutor said on Wednesday he would not oppose a delay to the start of a trial of four prominent Kenyans, including two leading presidential hopefuls, accused of fuelling post-election violence in 2007. The group, including former Finance Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and former Higher Education Minister William Ruto, are charged with masterminding the bloodshed that killed more than 1,200 people.

Ontario Teachers refuse to back some Magna directors

TORONTO (Reuters) – Ontario Teachers’ Pension Fund, which owns a stake in Canadian auto-parts manufacturer Magna International Inc, plans to vote against re-electing Magna’s controversial founder Frank Stronach as director of the company. Magna, long criticized for its corporate governance, paid Stronach roughly $900 million in 2010 to cede control of the company he started. The buyout was approved by an independent committee that examined the deal, but there was no independent evaluation to determine if the deal was fair to minority shareholders.
