Why Free Online Radio is a Blessing in Disguise

Free online radio is the new avatar that has brought back the radio to its adoring listeners.  Ever television and in particular, music television, drew the attention of its listeners away for a while, the internet has turned out to be a blessing in disguise for those who love indulging in their aural faculties.

But despite the furore that has been raised over piracy, the beauty about free internet radio is that it carries on the tradition of the radio in the fact that radio in the earlier days was free as well.  And no one had a problem with it either.

At another level altogether, with a global audience now being able to listen to internet radio stations that might be based locally in different parts of the world, one should note that this has not only brought the world a little closer but has also made our lives much easier.

What this has done for people everywhere is given them the ability to listen to their favorite kind of music be it jazz, rock, pop and so on and so forth, right in the comfort of their home, much like how it used to be in the old days when the old radio used to splutter into action.
